4.7 uf Metallized Polyester Film Capacitor

Metallized polyester capacitors, also called film capacitors. They are made of out wrapped with mylar tape and ends sealed with epoxy resin. The metal layer is  connected to the capacitor’s electrodes, which are made of a thin layer of metal foil. The electrodes are connected to the capacitor’s leads, they are axial leads of tinned wire in common.

Metallized polyester capacitors are used in a wide range of applications, including coupling decoupling by passing and timing circuit, automatic control system communication equipment.
